Founder / Operator

Kerry Zhang

Kerry grew up in the Inner West, working across different fields from designing and building furniture to tennis coaching (so he always has an excess of tennis balls on hand for fetch sessions!) For Kerry the best part of every day was always hanging out at Sydney Park watching his dog Mika chase balls, make friends and explore. This led him to begin his studies for a Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training, start volunteering at the RSPCA and take a job working at Bondi Paw Patrol providing off-lead group walks, at home boarding and puppy training sessions. He’d officially turned his longstanding passion for dogs and the outdoors into something he could do all day everyday!

Co-Founder

Olivia Rose Malan de Mérindol

For Olivia every day should include a dose of vitamin floof. She founded Bondi Paw Patrol in 2018 and it was quickly established as one of the most reliable and in demand pet care businesses across the Eastern Suburbs. She maintains deep knowledge in personalised client care, dog behaviour and the day-to-day systems that give pet parents confidence that their pets are safe, adored and living their best lives every day. Kerry had been on the BPP team as a pack leader for several years and it was a natural progression to collaborate with him to build Wagside and offer the same service in his own stomping ground. It’s a collaboration built on trust, respect and ambition to bring the best of the best to those that deserve it the most - your pets!
